We love Grandview Peaks!! Cory and Todd are as down to earth people as you will ever find. No high-pressure sales tactics like most “auction” type real estate deals you find. They showed us around the property without being rushed and gave us all the info we asked for. Nice log homes on large tracts with unbelievable views. We like the location, close to Lake James for summer water activities, Asheville and the Arts, and winter skiing in the Blowing Rock area. All areas are within one-hour driving time. We can’t wait to build. Thanks guys!

The Grandview Peaks development is one of a kind. Not only does it have breathtaking views, the prices are so affordable it truly makes you feel like you’ve gotten a bargain. From the time we entered the gate, we knew this was the place for us. The roads, landscaping, cabins, and properties were all beautiful and we were treated with such hospitality. It truly was a great experience. The sales team was so patient in answering our many questions and was with us every step of the way. We won’t hesitate to tell our friends about Grandview Peaks!

Without any pressure, we bought in this lovely development. But now that we know the strong commitment Todd, Mike, and their whole team have to improving the land, the environment, and their intent to keep it pristine, it has turned our home into a haven. For that we are grateful. They never fail to amaze us with their vision and dedication.

Grandview Peaks is absolutely gorgeous!!! We built 2 years ago and look forward to going up to our cabin every chance we get. The lake area is beautiful with a stunning pavillion we never even expected having there. The hiking trail is great ending in a small waterfall. The views from the entrance gate to our “corner of the woods” are breathtaking. Whoever sold prematurely and left comment really missed out…the people in our community are amazing and Todd and his team are second to none ! Everything he said he was going to do in the community he did…promises were kept ! The surrounding area are farm/country like some kept up a little better than others but that truly has NOTHING to do with Grandview Peaks. We have had many friends/family come visit and everyone is “WOW ‘ed” by how awesome it is. We highly recommend it and are thrilled with the investment we made for our vacation home.

I first visited Grandview Peaks on my own to check out a cabin shell. I was immediately impressed by the landscaping that started at the gated entrance and extended throughout the community. The existing homes were beautiful and I could not believe the value evident in the shell. The sales personnel were low-key, no pressure and simply anxious to tell the story of this great community. My wife was not immediately enthused when I told her I wanted to take her to the mountains to see a cabin shell. However, as we drove around the development, she fell in love with the big-view scenery and the upscale nature of the gated community. Cory and Todd were great to work with and let the property sell itself. We ended up purchasing a big-view lot instead of the shell and we simply can’t wait to get a cabin built on our new mountain property!

Great value for the money. After researching numerous NC mountain properties, we ended up at Grandview Peaks. This gated log cabin community seemed perfect for our “Craftsman” dream home. Large mountain-view lots, wide paved roads, underground power, hiking trails, waterfalls, a lake and well-maintained common areas. Lots of wildlife and easy access to many attractions, including Asheville and Black Mountain. We purchased lot #42 and have had a great building experience. Cory Coady and the rest of the staff couldn’t be more committed to the success of this development. Stop in and chat if you see us out and about.

My wife and I bought a lot in Grandview Peaks 4 years ago (looking about in both North and South Carolina) and are finally building our dream retirement home now (2015). Why here? Because it is downright beautiful. And I AM picky. And because I am convinced of the integrity of the developer Todd Black who came to fulfill his dreams of creating a community of homes adorned beautifully of wood within a gorgeous landscape. And there are many styles as well. He had many hurdles to overcome such as the lake to challenge him but he stuck with it. All is well maintained with nature trails to explore and a fabulous lake to enjoy. I just tell it like I see it. But like anything else, for everyone concerned, seeing is believing.

I spent 2 months looking at 10 different developments and felt right at home with Grandview Peaks. The community is very involved and the developer keeps improving and moving forward with development, the lake and hiking trail is great way to relax, bar-b-que and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We absolutely love Grandview Peaks. It is a quiet community in a wonderful setting with breathtaking views. The developer and management do what they say and keep the common areas (roads, hiking trails, lake, waterfall area, community center) nicely maintained while adding amenities every year. GVP is very centrally located, only 50 minutes from Asheville and less than 1.5 hours from Charlotte. We spend as much time up here as we can and love every minute.
